Google Analytics Suite On Adobe Air

Just thought as a new upcoming technology appears from Adobe some applications have began to utilize this extremely well. For instance the Google Analytics Suite which can be downloaded from the following link:
Google Analytics Suite.

This software i believe runs much better than the actual Google Analytics on the browser, it runs much faster and has much cleaner interface allowing the information to be quickly interpreted and used as you wish.

Feel free to give this a test run, although it’s only in beta testing still they have done a great job!
Can’t wait for the final release!!

Enjoy ;)

PNG Fix for Internet Explorer

So everyone has had to put up with using gifs and jpegs which we often find “not to our ideal quality”. There is a issue with IE and using png’s as it places a grey box around the png graphic, in Firefox and Safari this issue is fine.

There is a quick fix which I have been luckily enough to find. It is a javascript file which can be called by the following line of code underneath the

creative systems

So what system works best for you when working on web development and design.
I have come up with a few ideas and my system that works for me, see below:

Screen Resolution

  • 1440 x 900

System

  • MacBook Pro 15″
  • 2 GHz Intel Core Duo
  • 1 GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM

Operating System

  • Mac OS X 10.4.9 & Windows XP Professional

My Personal Opinion

I generally go by the rule that for all online projects I use two systems:
One which is my MAC which has no little than 1gb ram and no less than 2ghz, i also use a PC for browser testing which works great for me.
In future posts I will post some useful links i have found and use when developing a project for the web. So stay tuned!

I use this system for Web Development and Web Design and it runs perfectly with no lag and fast load times.

Please speak up and let me know what your recommendations are and what you use your system for.
